Permanent role

Our client is a contract manufacturer, filling and packaging company based in the heart of Cheshire. They manufacture and package a wide range of toiletries, perfumes and pet care products tailored to their customers' requirements. They are looking to add a Quality Control Technician to their busy Quality department who will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the quality of the raw materials and finished products including:

Examining finished product against product specification to ensure they meet all standards of presentation and quality,

Marking up and isolating defective raw materials and finished products

Carrying out QC tests such as Viscosity and pH on a range of Raw materials and Finished product

Communicating inspection results to relevant production, manufacturing and quality managers

Testing and release of incoming raw materials and bulk batches manufactured in house.

Final Product Release.

Suitable candidates for this role should have a background in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, ideally from a Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing environment and ideally have studied Science to A-level standard or have a degree or equivalent in a Science related subject.

Full training will be provided by the company.
