Aerospheres is a major supplier of chemicals and consumable to the Aerospace Industry and our dedication to quality has allowed us to become a leader in our industry. We are seeking an experienced quality assurance specialist who can build upon this good reputation with an unwavering commitment to maintaining and enhancing our processes and controls. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, methodical and have the experience necessary to take our business to the next level in accuracy, efficiency and compliance. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for developing our QA program that fosters a culture in which all employees are actively engaged to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer service. 

Responsibilities

Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards Maintain customer complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions Document quality assurance activities, including internal reporting and metrics Identify and develop improved processes across all aspects of the business Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills Record and analysis customer complaints and other nonconforming processes Using RCA tools, thoroughly investigate issues and identify effective corrective actions Assist Sales to rapidly resolve customer concerns Record, analyse and present key data and metrics, including information for use at Management Review meetings Continually challenge and develop processes for improvement Update and maintain procedures and other Quality related documentation Develop standard work protocols and promote visual workplace methodology Liaise and communicate with all aspects of the business to ensure policies, procedures and key processes are understood and followed Develop and deliver training programs relevant to Quality Assurance activities Support internal and external audits Assist and deputise for other members of the Quality Team regarding any other activities relating to compliance, quality, H&S and sustainability.

Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working in a Quality Assurance position Detailed knowledge of quality assurance terminology (ISO9001), techniques, and tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma) Experience of Root Cause Analysis using 5Y, 8D etc. techniques Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Detail orientated and able to work on own initiative Ability to proactively identify problems and resolve quality related matters Experience of writing/developing procedures Able to produce timely and high-quality results High standard of computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) Must be committed, flexible and reliable. Preferred skills and qualification Previous experience working in chemical, aviation, automotive, medical or similar industries Experience working with business ERP software Knowledge of REACH regulations Health & safety experience/qualifications Experience developing sustainability initiatives.
