QC Microbiology Technician

am currently working with a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation based in Wrexham who have an opportunity for a Microbiologist to join the team, this is great chance for an experienced Microbiologist professional within the pharmaceutical industry to progress their career.

Key responsibilities for the QC Microbiology Technician

Perform routine microbiological testing on samples, including bacteria.
Prepare media, reagents, and cultures for laboratory use.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in line with GLP/GMP standards.
Assist in environmental monitoring and hygiene audits. Support investigations into deviations or non-conformances.
Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, and microscopes

Requirements for the QC Microbiology Technician

Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related subject.
Experience of working within a Microbiology Laboratory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
