Title: QC Lab Technician
Location: East Yorkshire
Salary: £26,964 per annum + £3277 shift allowance
Term: Initial 3 Month Temp Contract

SRG is working with a leading hygiene, personal care and home care manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. They are now looking for a QC lab Technician to join the team. In this role you provide admin support the QC team while undertaking different administrative/lab support tasks. This role would ideally suit candidates who have recently graduated and are looking to take the first step into industry.

Working Hours: 40hour week working alongside a shift pattern of - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm

Role / Description

Provide QC lab support to the laboratory
Stock control and stock management of raw materials
Laboratory maintenance and cleaning
General admin tasks such as: printing documents, logging samples, receiving samples, preparing product paperwork and ensuring documentation is added to the relevant system
Working as a cross functional member of the team you will work alongside and communicate with other lab technicians, lab analysts and the QC Manager
Support in the running of a fast-paced labRequirements

Recent Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or science related degree graduate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Results-orientated attitude, with competency with troubleshooting
