Freelance Publication Medical Writer - Contract Opportunity



About the Role

Our client, a leading name in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking an experienced Freelance Publication Medical Writer to join their team on a six-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to critical projects at the forefront of respiratory medicine, particularly in COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). As part of our client's collaborative and innovative environment, you'll take ownership of publications from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and review manuscripts, including original research and reviews.
  • Demonstrate expertise in respiratory and COPD-related content.
  • Lead publication projects and liaise professionally with clients.
  • Contribute to congress abstracts and posters as an added advantage.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Medical Communications:Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Respiratory Expertise:Knowledge of COPD and other respiratory domains is essential.
  • Publication Leadership:Proven ability to manage publication projects from start to finish.
  • Congress Contributions:Experience with congress abstracts and posters is a plus.
  • Commitment and Track Record:At least 5 years of professional experience within medical communications or a related area.
