Complex electro-mechanical machinery development and deployment

This company is doing pioneering work, developing a suite of interrelated machines for the production of pharmaceuticals. Each machine is a complex mix of electronics, mechanics and software which allows for fully automated manufacture. As these machines continue to be improved and new machines developed skilled and experienced project managers are key to ensure continued success.

You will be working closely with the technical leads to manage the full life cycle of product development from initial project brief through to delivery and lessons learned reporting. In between you will be in charge of the project schedule, ensuring good communication between internal teams and external stakeholders and managing risk, quality and budget.

Requirements:
• Commercial experience in the manufacturing, automation, instrumentation, consumer products or similar industries. Ideally some experience of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology fields.
• A track record of delivering complex systems under tight time constraints.
• Excellent communications skills for working across engineering teams and representing the company to external stakeholders and customers.
• Degree level education in a STEM subject.

Operating out of recently built offices near Cambridge and expanding quickly, this is an excellent time to join a team going places.
