Job responsibilities

  1. Supports Business Unit Controller in:
  • Records revenue monthly for Unit, Fee for Service, and Fixed Price contracts, including more complex contracts/projects.
  • Loads project budgets into Oracle/Revenue Wizard, maintains key member lists, and updates project data in Oracle and associated systems.
  • Prepares monthly variance analysis at the project level and distributes reports analyzing results.
  • Coordinates monthly forecasting of financial results (backlog).
  • Meets deadlines for Revenue and Backlog submissions.
  • Prepares project close-out reconciliations, identifies issues, and escalates when necessary.
  • Acts as a key contact for interpreting and investigating financial results for Project Managers/Leads.
  • Runs P&Ls, G/L account details, and project reports to investigate anomalies and trends.
  • Reviews executed and pending Change Orders for bonuses and anomalies.
Works with Business Unit Controller to:
  • Captures, assesses, and consolidates results.
  • Prepares key reports such as budgets, cost rates, forecasts, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog, and gross profit.
  • Analyzes monthly results and assists in reviews with Business Unit Heads.
  • Produces ad hoc reports with limited supervision.
Attends project meetingsto support assigned areas, including project kick-offs and monthly reviews, to ensure understanding and accuracy of project status and forecasts.Assists with miscellaneous projectssuch as process changes, system implementations, and analyzing financial anomalies.Provides basic financial insightson growth trends and profitability.Monitors project healthincluding revenues, gross profit, receivables, and project close-outs.Acts as backupfor Business Unit Controller when needed.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Proficiency with accounting software; Oracle Finance experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills with high motivation.
  • Ability to handle confidential data and multitask to meet deadlines.
