Team Horizon is seeking a Program Manager Operations Lead for our client based in Sligo. As a key leader, you'll drive project management excellence across our organization. Responsibilities include developing standards, ensuring timely delivery, managing resources, and maintaining compliance. This is a high-potential role with significant exposure to Senior Leadership and opportunities for development.

The PMO Lead will be the key site contact for all pipeline project PM activities, collaborating with R&D and PDS&T to develop and execute strategies for commercial supply of new products.

The PMO Lead will also lead cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, manufacturing science and technology, quality assurance, purchasing, and supply chain to execute the strategies for the development and supply of new products along with serving as a site representative on Global Project Teams, Global Brand Teams, CR and PSR reviews. This role is a people management role with 3-6 Direct reports.

    What you will be doing:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of skilled project/program managers.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for project managers to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices, ensuring consistent application of PMO standards across all projects.

  • Develop metrics, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PMO processes and make necessary adjustments

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Forecast resource needs and coordinate with department leads to align resources with project requirements.

  • Liaise with executive leadership and stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Identify and Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the PMO Process

  • Collaborate with Global PM & PDS&T to determine when to develop plans for the development and supply of new products.

  • Adhere to and support all EHS standards, procedures and policies.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

    What you need to apply:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Technical and/or Quality discipline is required Extensive experience (10+ years) in manufacturing, supply chain management, engineering, and/or drug development.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Proven experience in planning and executing projects.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Ability to navigate and resolve complex project-related issues and conflicts.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in influencing peers in other organizations and senior management
