Insight Employment are urgently seeking Production/Machine Operatives for a client of ours in Buckingham.

Due to the location, you must have your own transport or live locally.

The Client: -

Our client has been producing timber products since 1945 and is now one of the leading suppliers of specialised timber products in the UK and one of the most advanced manufacturers of pallets in the South of England.

The company supplies a wide range of standard and bespoke pallets and timber products to DIY, packaging, construction, storage, food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies across the UK and Europe.

The Role: -

As a Production/Machine Operative you will be working either independently and/or part of a team running and overseeing different sections of the production line for a timber manufacturing company. The role is not for the faint hearted you will be working in a noisy environment on your feet all day, it will involve heavy lifting and using heavy tools to speed but safely.

Excellent on-site training is provided.

Responsibilities & Duties: -

·You will be working either independently and/or part of a team running and overseeing different sections of the production line.

·Making sure the production output meets the desired targets and the machine runs smoothly.

·Ensure the products are manufactured to the desired quality requirements.

·Take control of the day to day running including setting and completing changeover in a timely manner.

·Making sure the production output meets the desired targets.

·Report any downtime to the Team Leader / Manager immediately.

·Comply with all health & safety procedures.

Requirements: -

·Previous experience within the timber industry or some experience working on industrial Production lines would be an advantage but not essential.

·Able to work with a fast-paced environment but safely.

·Physical fit, due to heavy lifting.

·Must be hardworking.

·Quality focused.

·Keen eye for detail.

·Great team player

·Communicate effectively with all colleagues.

Hours/Shift: -

Mon - Thur 07:30-17:00

Friday 07:30-11:30 (overtime available after 11:30)

Saturday available as overtime 07:00-12:00

Rates: -

Up to 40 hrs - £12.21 per hour + attendance bonus of 50p per hour only once the standard 40 hours are work.

Overtime over 40 hrs - £16.21 per hour

Saturday only - £18.31 per hour
