Night Shift Production Supervisor
Salary: £35,000
Location: Kent
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6pm – 6am (No Weekends)

The Role – Night Shift Production Supervisor
As a Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will oversee the tablet production process, ensuring smooth operations, quality standards, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the tablet production lines

  • Ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Implementing and optimising processes to improve efficiency and meet on-time, in-full (OTIF) targets

  • Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to uphold and improve quality control procedures

  • Monitoring and addressing any deviations from quality standards, implementing corrective actions

  • Ensuring accurate date coding and labelling of finished goods to meet customer requirements

  • Leading and motivating a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support

  • Ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), BRCGS, and health and safety procedures

  • Overseeing equipment maintenance, working with the engineering team to resolve issues promptly

  • Supporting business goals in Right First Time (RFT), continuous improvement, and waste reduction

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations

    What We’re Looking For in a Night Shift Production Supervisor
    To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience running a tablet machine or a similar complex production machine

  • A background in pharmaceuticals, supplements, food, or a related manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a team

  • A keen eye for quality control and process improvements

  • A proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems and optimising production

  • Competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)
