You will be responsible for planning and optimising production schedules to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality products, in line with customer demand, regulatory standards, and stock strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term production schedules for FMCG goods and related SKUs.
  • Monitor and forecast demand based on sales data, stock levels, and seasonal trends in consumer consumption.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance and regulatory labelling requirements
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and NPD teams to integrate promotional activity, product launches, and customer-specific orders into the production plan.
  • Coordinate batch manufacturing for various ingredient strengths and flavours, ensuring proper sequencing to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Ensure availability of materials, including concentrates, blends, devices, packaging, and cartons.
  • Prepare and manage precise work orders with batch traceability documentation.
    Compliance & Quality
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to ensure production plans support all compliance requirements (including batch testing, emissions testing, and MSDS tracking).
  • Support product recalls or regulatory audits with detailed production documentation when needed.
    Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor real-time production output vs plan; investigate and resolve variances.
  • Proactively identify risks such as material shortages, capacity constraints, or supplier delays.
  • Recommend improvements to scheduling processes to increase flexibility and efficiency, especially in response to volatile demand patterns.
    Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the key point of contact between production and other departments, ensuring timely communication of schedule changes or issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to review operational performance and plan adjustments.
    Your Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a production planning or supply chain role within pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and advanced formulas) and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
