This company is a global leader in precision radiation medicine, specialising in innovative solutions that improve the lives of patients with cancer and brain disorders. Their advanced technologies in radiotherapy, radiosurgery, and clinical software empower healthcare providers to deliver exceptional care and achieve better treatment outcomes.

I am currently assisting this organisation in their search for a Technical Product Manager to join their team in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to ground breaking advancements in the medical technology sector while working closely with technical and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership:Act as the technical expert for the product portfolio, collaborating with R&D, software engineering, and clinical teams to guide development and implementation.
  2. Product Strategy:Define technical product strategies and roadmaps that align with market needs and customer feedback.
  3. Requirements Gathering:Translate customer and clinical requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure successful product delivery.
  5. Innovation & Trends:Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in oncology, radiotherapy, and medical software to maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all technical solutions comply with relevant medical device standards (e.g., MDR, FDA, ISO).
  7. Product Lifecycle Management:Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including technical upgrades, enhancements, and legacy product support.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong technical background, with experience in medical technology, software, or related fields.
  2. Proven experience in technical product management, with a deep understanding of medical device development and clinical workflows.
  3. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or Health Technology).
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  5. Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., MDR, FDA, ISO standards).
  6. Experience in oncology, radiotherapy, or medical imaging is a significant advantage.
