The Role - Purpose
We’re looking for a

hands-on, self-starting Product Manager

to lead the development of our smart collar / clinical wearable device. This is a highly technical, delivery-focused role that blends product responsibility with practical involvement in the essentials of hardware development. You’ll work directly with the Marley Health team and our external partners to bring a best-in-class device to market.

What you’ll do – Key Responsibilities

:
Responsible for the end-to-end development of our smart collar, from concept to commercial launch
Work directly with suppliers and manufacturers to manage hardware components, prototypes, and production timelines.
Get hands-on with sensors, firmware, and hardware to help solve technical questions as they arise.
Translate clinical, user, and business requirements into clear product specifications and development milestones.
Test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to product validation.
Ensure hardware integrates effectively into our broader platform without losing sight of customer needs and speed to market.
Maintain a high sense of urgency and responsibility—this role is about building, not managing.
Build excellent communication channels and working relationships with all key stakeholders throughout the business and inside our partners’ organisations.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications and experience

Must haves:
Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in developing hardware products (wearables, IoT, MedTech, or similar) including an understanding of ergonomics and form factors.
Practical knowledge of sensors, data capture, and the interplay between hardware and digital systems, including understanding of data processing from sensors and the challenges that involves.
Experience managing and collaborating with external suppliers and manufacturers.
Nice to haves:
Ideally you are production focused, you want to take the complex and make it seem simple, usable, engaging.
Regulated industry experience (e.g., healthtech, medical devices) is a bonus, but not required.
MSc in related field.
