Join our Cambridge team and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in cell and gene therapies, bioprocessing, and cutting-edge biomanufacturing technologies.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Development Scientist/Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and scaling up bioprocesses for cutting-edge therapeutic modalities. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions to meet the needs of our clients in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.Key Responsibilities: * Process Development: Design, develop, and optimize upstream and downstream bioprocesses for novel therapeutic products, including cell and gene therapies, monoclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins. * Technology Transfer: Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure seamless transfer of processes from development to GMP production. * Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis and interpretation to support process characterization, ensuring reproducibility and scalability. * Equipment Management: Operate and maintain state-of-the-art bioprocessing equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography systems, and filtration units. * Documentation: Prepare technical reports, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance with regulatory requirements. * Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and product development, to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in bioprocessing and recommend improvements to existing workflows.Qualifications and Experience: * A degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. * Hands-on experience in upstream (e.g., cell culture, bioreactors) and/or downstream (e.g., filtration, chromatography) process development. * Familiarity with cGMP regulations and biomanufacturing standards. * Strong analytical skills with experience using software for data analysis (e.g., MATLAB, JMP, or similar). * Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. * Knowledge of process characterization and validation principles is desirable. * Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly advantageous.What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. * Access to continuous learning and development programs. * A culture that values diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.How to Apply:If you are passionate about driving innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry and want to be part of a dynamic team, wed love to hear from you.
