One of our valued, new and exciting clients are seeking a Principal Scientist to support their work with a particular focus on NGS


Client


The role is with a specialist cancer genetics company that have a presence in both the UK and US. Their work focuses on creating life altering therapies and trials that have the potential to create those and connect them with patients. As a company they aim to provide the most detailed oncology testing to facilities to allow for early diagnosis and earlier treatment of cancer.


Role


The role that we are currently recruiting for is for a Research Scientist working with a particular focus on advancing technologies in cancer genomics. This will involve work on circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), next generation sequencing (NGS) and Illumina Hi-seq. The ideal candidate for this role would have product development experience, worked within oncology research and have had exposure to patents.


Requirements

  • Experience with NGS and molecular laboratory techniques
  • Experience within oncology
  • Experience with patents (nice to have)
