A pioneering biotech company at the forefront of cancer immunotherapy is seeking a Senior or Principal Scientist to join their dynamic team. This organization is focused on developing next-generation T-cell receptor (TCR)-based therapies to address solid tumors—areas historically difficult to treat with conventional immunotherapies. Role Summary The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the engineering, in vitro, and in vivo validation of TCR-based engagers. This includes hands-on work in molecular biology, protein science, and cell-based assays, as well as collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to advance therapeutic candidates toward clinical development. Key Responsibilities Lead in vitro and in vivo validation of TCR-based T cell engagers. Design and characterize TCRs targeting proprietary and partnered disease indications. Execute protein science workflows, including expression, purification, and biophysical analyses of recombinant TCRs. Perform molecular biology tasks: cloning, mutagenesis, DNA isolation, and library prep for sequencing. Manage cell culture work, including media preparation, cell line maintenance, and cryopreservation. Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Required Qualifications ~ PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline, with: ~2-3 years of industry experience. ~ Demonstrated experience with in vitro and in vivo validation of T cell engagers, ideally through to IND-enabling studies. ~ Solid understanding of molecular biology techniques (e.G., cloning, PCR). ~ Hands-on experience with protein expression, purification, and biophysical characterization. ~ Experience with cell-based assays (e.G., flow cytometry, ELISA) is desirable. ~ Familiarity with NGS library preparation and data analysis pipelines (e.G., using R) is a plus. ~ Prior SOP development and documentation experience is advantageous.
