We are looking to appoint a commercial, forward-thinking and solution focused Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Bristol . You will be delivering exceptional technical and commercial solutions to a range of clients across the private and public sector; including education, defence, healthcare, pharmaceutical and commercial.

Your coreresponsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents .
- Carrying out building analysis.
- L iaising directly with Clients and Contractors and promote business development .
- S upervising a team of engineers and technicians and assist in management of project resources and costs.

About You
Our ideal Principal Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) will have:
- HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Significant experience of mechanical building services / HVAC design (ie. domestic water services, ventilation, heating, cooling).
- Hands on knowledge and understanding of IES, Hevacomp and AutoCAD; experience with Revit MEP is desirable.
- Knowledge of current legislation e.g. UK Building Regulations, also Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self - motivated.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng, BEng with mechanical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of construction industry design processes and procurement arrangements.
- Excellent design skills across a variety of sectors.
- Resource planning and management experience.
- Business development experience.
