We are looking for a Principal Building Services Engineer to join PM Group working for us on a hybrid basis based out of our Edinburgh office

Job Title - Principal Building Services Engineer

Location -Edinburgh

Contract - Full Time Permanent

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out conceptual and detailed designs for complex building services systems in complex facilities in the pharmaceutical, mission critical, food, chemical and advanced manufacturing sectors.

You will be part of a talented, supportive and friendly Building Services team working across the UK and globally; working in a truly multi-disciplinary environment with engineers and project management personnel to deliver high tech facilities.

You'll also assist with bids and tenders as well as providing coaching and mentoring to early careers engineering professionals.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Building Services, Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

  • Preferably Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Status with CIBSE or IMechE

  • Suitable level of experience within building services engineering, professional services and / or consultancy.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of regulations, legislation, codes of practice and current design standards applicable to mechanical building services installations.

  • Knowledge of BREEAM, LEED and related concepts desirable.

  • Knowledge of BIM, Navisworks, MEP AutoCAD Revit very advantageous.

  • Must have the ability to adapt, multi-task and prioritise when necessary.

  • Display a positive outlook and approachable manner.
