The research group’s overarching goal is to understand how membrane protein assemblies change in health and disease. This post is designed to develop mass spectrometry-based approaches to contribute to the understanding of the molecular mechanism of bipolar disorder.About youApplicants should hold a PhD in Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry or a relevant subject area and have experience of membrane protein expression and/or native mass spectrometry. This post is for an experienced researcher with a proven track record. Preference will be given to those with experience in expressing challenging membrane protein targets. As this is a senior role you will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines as agreed in advance.
