  • £45K - £60K Basic Salary (dependent on experience)

    About The Role

    As a PLC Automation Engineer, you will work from a home office and be responsible for:

  • Supporting clients within the UK & Ireland.

  • Spending 20-30% of your time on customer sites (pharmaceutical manufacturers across your territory) with the rest of your time providing automation and troubleshooting support via phone and remote access.

  • Corrective maintenance and disaster recovery on Rockwell ControlLogix and Scada Systems.

  • System configuration and automation upgrades and amends.

  • Operating in a methodical approach to troubleshoot electrical and automation machine failures.

  • Completing service visit reports.

  • Communicating effectively both internally and externally.

    About You

    The successful candidate will be based in the UK and possess at least 2 years' experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs such as Siemens, Rockwell etc.

    Candidates must speak fluent English, hold a valid local driving license and the rights to work. My client doesn’t offer sponsorship.

    You must be comfortable with travel and nights away when needed.

    A degree level education is beneficial, but not essential, as is experience working in a cleanroom or sterile environment.

    It is, however, essential you have a logical and methodical approach to finding faults and be comfortable with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
