Position: Pipefitter
Location: Grimsby Employer (Offsite working)
Salary: £20.13 per hour with overtime opportunities
Shift: Flexible, including weekends and extended periods away from home

About Our Client:

We are seeking a skilled pipe fitter to join our prestigious client's team. With over 40 years of industry leadership, our client operates state-of-the-art facilities and services in the industrial, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Key Duties:

  • Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems in various industrial settings.

  • Interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings to execute tasks efficiently.

  • Work across diverse industries, including food and industrial sectors.

  • Perform duties in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with precision.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

    Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in pipefitting, ideally with experience in the industrial and food industries.

  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficient in using pipefitting tools and equipment.

  • Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards.

  • Capable of problem-solving and troubleshooting on-site issues efficiently.

  • Willingness to work offsite, including extended periods away from home and weekends.

  • Adaptable to various work environments and industries.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.

    Qualifications:

  • National Vocational Qualification in Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds, HNC/HND

  • Certifications in pipefitting or related fields.

  • Additional training in welding or fabrication is a plus.
