About Us

We’re a pioneering health tech company on a mission to revolutionise the way we all understand and support our health. Our mission is simple: to help people, and their doctors, make better decisions that lead to longer, fuller lives. We focus on the common diseases that affect billions, the ones that put the greatest strain on our healthcare systems.

Each person is unique, and by decoding the insights in our DNA, we’re building cutting-edge tools and platforms that enable truly personalised medicine. From prevention and early screening, to diagnosis, treatment, and even the development of new medicines, there is so much more to discover and build to support people at each step of their healthcare journey.

With our leading science and brilliant partners, we can make healthcare smarter, more precise, and more personal. Our vision is bold: a world where everyone benefits from genomics. If you’re inspired by the potential of cutting-edge science and technology and want to have a real impact on the future of healthcare, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Purpose:

At Genomics, we harness the power of genomic data to solve some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare.

As a Physician Scientist within our Life Sciences team, you will play a key role in bridging clinical insight with advanced genomic science. Our work spans the full therapeutic development lifecycle, from uncovering new disease mechanisms to optimising trial design and identifying new uses for existing therapies.

This is a unique opportunity for a clinically trained scientist to work at the cutting edge of precision medicine. With the support of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will design and deliver scientifically rigorous analyses that inform decision-making in drug development and patient care.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead and support genomics research projects that apply genetic insights to improve patient outcomes.
  • Analyse large-scale genomic and clinical datasets to stratify patient populations and identify therapeutic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and industry partners to interpret findings and drive translational applications.
  • Contribute to high-impact publications and present findings at major scientific and clinical conferences.
  • Stay current with developments in genomic medicine, helping to shape internal strategy and scientific thinking.

Who You Are

You are a clinically trained professional with a deep interest in the application of genomics to real-world healthcare challenges. You are analytical, proactive, and collaborative, ready to make an impact at the intersection of clinical medicine and cutting-edge science.

You bring:

  • An MD/MBBS (or equivalent), combined with a PhD in a relevant field (e.g. genetic epidemiology, data science, proteomics).
  • Experience working with or interpreting genomic and clinical data in a research or applied setting.
  • A strong foundation in statistical and computational methods, with coding skills desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both for scientific audiences and broader stakeholders.
  • A clear understanding of ethical, regulatory, and privacy considerations in genomic research.

Plus

  • Publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals
  • Conference presentations or talks in relevant fields

So what's in it for you?
