We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic well motivated registered Pharmacy Technician with excellent dispensing and communication skills to join our friendly, pharmacy team as a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician .

This opportunity will involve working on a rotational basis across the Bournemouth and Poole hospital sites.

Upon successfully gaining 1 year's hospital experience, the post holder will progress to band 5.

This Post Is Suitable For

Qualified accuracy checking technicians who would like to specialise in the dispensary
Community based pharmacy technicians looking for a career change

You should be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work flexibly and independently in a professional manner.

You will be expected to participate in our weekend, bank holiday and late night rotas.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Please note all staff being recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across our new Trust sites when service demands require it.

This role requires registration to The Royal Pharmaceutical Society

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
