We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Rye Hill, a category B Prison located in Rugby.

    HMP Rye Hill has a capacity of 660 males after 18+.
    Hours:
    Monday - Sunday service
    Weekday shifts - 7am - 7.15pm
    Weekend shifts - 7.30am - 6pm
    Salary:
    This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between £35,000 - £39,000 per annum FTE - dependent on experience.

    Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
    Main duties of the job Provide outstanding quality-based patient-centred care, seeking out, listening to, and acting on feedback to personalize and inform care.
    Focus on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, maintaining patient medical records to the standard and following SOPs diligently.
    Deliver non-judgemental care within professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analyzing cost-effective prescribing.
    Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, making a real difference.

    NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC, or equivalent
    Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
    Up-to-date CPD
    Relevant pharmacy experience
    Excellent communication skills
    Ability to work unsupervised following policies and procedures
    Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential.
