About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Pharmacy Dispenser to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for patient care and proven expertise in medication dispensing. This role demands a thorough understanding of pharmacy operations and exceptional customer service abilities.
Main Duties Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Providing exceptional patient care and counselling on medication usage
Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies when necessary
Collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Processing prescriptions and handling administrative tasks in compliance with regulations
Booking in stock from suppliers and reconciling against invoices
Working as part of a team
Speaking to patients on the phone and through customer service channels
Qualifications Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Technician is desirable
Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
