We are currently partnered with one of our leading global biopharmaceutical clients who are seeking a Pharmacoepidemiologist on a remote basis in the UK.

Summary of responsibilities:


  1. Review and summarise safety-related information from published observational studies and clinical trials for Astellas products.
  2. Collaborate with senior Pharmacoepidemiologists to design literature search strategies and interpret epidemiological data.
  3. Work with the Statistical and RWD Science group to develop and assess safety data dashboards/ cohorts using U.S. health insurance claims data.
  4. Support analysis and interpretation of aggregate safety data from real-world data sources like claims and EHR databases.
  5. Evaluate the use of generative AI tools to enhance efficiency in literature reviews.


Key Information:


The client is looking for someone to join their team as a Pharmacoepidemiologist, where you'll play a key role in reviewing safety data from clinical trials and observational studies for the client's products. Collaborate with experts to design literature searches, analyze real-world data from health insurance claims and EHRs, and help develop safety dashboards. You'll also explore innovative AI tools to streamline literature reviews, driving efficiency and insights in product safety.


Required: MSc/MPH or equivalent with focus in epidemiology or related field.
