About BioDivide

BioDivide is an innovative cell therapy and advanced biologics company based in Melksham, UK. We are a small, passionate team dedicated to developing cutting-edge cell and biological therapies for both animal and human health. Our facilities include both research and GMP-compliant manufacturing laboratories, with recent investment in state-of-the-art cleanroom infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to support the daily operations of our research and GMP manufacturing facilities. This is a varied and hands-on role within a fast-paced biotech environment. Training will be provided in GMP procedures and quality-controlled laboratory practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable and transferable skills in the life sciences and biomanufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform GMP cleanroom cleaning and routine maintenance
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and record-keeping
  • Monitor stock levels and manage laboratory consumables and reagents
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Assist with laboratory quality control and documentation
  • Support research and manufacturing processes as required

    Candidate Profile

    We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated and reliable
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Be adaptable and able to work independently when needed
  • Be comfortable working in both laboratory and cleanroom environments

    Note: Due to limited public transport, candidates based locally or with access to a car are preferred.

    Working Environment

    Our facility includes modern laboratories, office space, and a warehouse housing two newly installed cleanrooms. The successful candidate will work across various areas, including R&D labs, GMP cleanrooms, and office spaces.
