Are you an experienced Oncology Pharmacist looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist to join a specialist hospital pharmacy team in Reading. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients.
This role offers a competitive salary up to £56,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. You'll enjoy 35 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, and access to private medical insurance. Plus a reward platform offering discounts and cashback from retailers.
As an Oncology Pharmacist, you will:

  • Lead and manage the specialist pharmacy service for oncology.
  • Provide expert advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of oncology medications.
  • Promote a multidisciplinary, patient-focused approach to healthcare.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate pharmaceutical care for patients.
  • Maintain effective communication on complex issues.
  • Oversee the application of technology for chemotherapy treatment.

The ideal Oncology Pharmacist will have:

  • A degree (BSc/MSc Hons) and GPHC registration without restrictions.
  • Experience as a pharmacist specialising in oncology services
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Specialist knowledge in oncology through a diploma or equivalent training BOPA Passport.
