About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Nurse Manager to lead a clinical team delivering patient-focused care through our homecare programme. This role involves managing team performance, ensuring operational excellence, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve service goals and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a clinical team, including bank, agency, and specialist nurses, to deliver against KPIs.

  • Ensure effective service delivery, even during contingencies.

  • Support and facilitate team development through training, performance reviews, and succession planning.

  • Identify and implement service improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care.

  • Maintain your clinical competence to provide field support and patient visits when required.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational processes.

  • Provide on-call support for out-of-hours clinical services.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS and third-party providers.

  • Deliver clear, insightful reports and track progress against key performance indicators.

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines, including NMC standards and company policies.

  • Document all patient interactions accurately and in accordance with company/client policies.

  • Stay updated with industry compliance, policies, and professional development.

    Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration and a relevant professional qualification (Honours degree or equivalent).

  • Essential: Minimum one year of management experience in a clinical setting.

  • Desirable: Post-registration qualification in management, CVAD, or parenteral nutrition.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or NHS.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

  • Commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and pre-employment medical checks.
