Job Title: NMR Scientist

Client: A leading GMP pharmaceutical organisation specialised in providing analytical services to clients in the pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Sector is seeking a highly skilled NMR Scientist to join their team.

The successful NMR Scientist will have extensive hands-on experience with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and will play a crucial role in delivering client analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform NMR spectroscopy analyses on a wide range of pharmaceutical compounds and materials.

Develop, validate, and optimize NMR methods to meet client-specific analytical requirements.

Interpret and analyse NMR data to provide comprehensive reports and ensure data integrity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables.

Maintain and troubleshoot NMR instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and compliance with GMP standards.

Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, and validation documents related to NMR spectroscopy.

Provide technical support and training to junior staff and colleagues on NMR methodologies.

Ensure compliance with all GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with NMR spectroscopy in a GMP or CRO setting.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining NMR instruments, including software and hardware troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of NMR theory, techniques, and data interpretation.

Experience with method development, validation, and optimization for NMR analyses is advantageous.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with GMP regulations and quality assurance practices.

Benefits:

Salary £25,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience.
