UK Sales Manager - Valves and Actuators
Our client is the UK’s leading supplier of Process Technologies for the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Semi-Conductor and Food & Beverage Industries.
They supply world leading process and flow control equipment, specifically valves and actuators, to the oil & gas, energy and power industries too.
They can provide exceptional technical expertise and engineering solutions through an unrivalled and diverse range of valves, actuators, pumps, heat exchangers, ultra filtration and other process and control instrumentation.
Due to expansion a brand-new role has been created for a Sales Manager to be based out of their Welsh office.

Office Based South Wales Monday – Friday

The role of the UK Sales Manager

Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the UK Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting all UK sales business based out of the Welsh office Monday through Friday. The role is a hands-on Sales Management position managing all aspects of an internal sales team, offering commercial/technical support and direction to the inside sales team on all process equipment and flow control solutions; supporting the external field-based sales team and to project manage the sales process internally to customer satisfaction.

The Sales Manager will have direct interaction with Customers and Suppliers, Supply Chain, Product Management and liaising and supporting where needed with warehousing, HR and Finance to ensure sales are executed and the right technical solution delivered to meet the customer’s process and flow control needs.

This is a great opportunity for an existing Valve and Actuation Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Inside Sales Manager who has a proven track record in selling valves and actuators. It would be ideal if the incoming Candidate already has sales/people management having worked for another Process Equipment Manufacturer or a Supplier of Process engineering Solutions such as valves, actuation, pumps, and other flow control equipment. Alternatively, a Process Sales Engineer or Regional Sales Manager or Territory Manager, Project Manager or Product Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years process equipment sales i.e. pumps, valves, actuators, filtration, process instruments or similar flow technology looking to move into a sales management role will be fully considered.

This is an ideal next step up for a commercially proven Valve and Actuator commercially driven professional to move into Sales Management.

The ideal candidate will Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree, HNC or equivalent to provide technical support and select the best process equipment to meet the clients’ needs.
