This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our water treatment operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage ongoing maintenance of Ion Exchange water treatment plants Lead and execute maintenance projects Perform refurbishment and fabrication of equipment, including PVC and stainless-steel pipework Work independently and collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals Handle 415V equipment safely and effectively Conduct fault-finding, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems Perform calibrations and loop checking of DCS/control systems Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations Implement and maintain safety protocols, including risk assessments Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/KAIZEN) Qualifications Qualifications and Skills:18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification NVQ3 in electrical-based units City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent Experience in industrial electrical work Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong background in EHS and quality standards Fabrication and welding experience, particularly with PVC and stainless-steel Preferred:City and Guilds 2391 Electrical testing and inspection Experience in the water treatment industry This role offers the opportunity to apply your diverse skill set in a dynamic environment, contributing to essential water treatment processes.
