Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? We are a leading organisation committed to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by delivering cutting-edge technology and services in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Due to a recent surge in demand and a temporary shortage of resources, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our nightshift team.

Position: Multiskilled Maintenance Technician
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full-Time (4 on 4 off night shift)
Salary: £37,000 per year + 30% shift allowance
Duration: Minimum 3 months (potentially up to 2 years)

What You'll Do:

Perform Routine Maintenance: Carry out maintenance and repairs on customised production equipment within a cleanroom environment.
Troubleshoot Issues: Quickly identify and resolve technical problems to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing your duties.
Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect equipment to prevent potential breakdowns, keeping our operations running smoothly.
Manage External Contractors: Coordinate and oversee external contractors, ensuring all necessary training and safety documentation are in place.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Completing preventative maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
Maintaining facility-supporting equipment, such as Air Handling Units, Cochran Steam Boilers, and Chiller plants.
Allocating spare parts efficiently and tracking maintenance tasks through our CMMS.
Collaborating with multiple departments to enhance operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic fields with relevant workplace experience.
Experience: Familiarity with Cochran Steam Boilers, HVAC/Chiller systems, and planned preventative maintenance.
Skills: A solid understanding of GMP compliance and EHS regulations related to maintenance activities.
Personality: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
