Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Insight Employment are seeking a highly motivatedMulti Skilled Engineerfor a client of ours in Milton Keynes.

The Role: -

As aMulti Skilled Engineeryou will be working closely with theAutomation & Production teams to minimise downtime and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and performance. You will be involved in continuing to ensure the manufacturing processes continue to run optimally.

Responsibilities & Duties: -

Conduct routine inspections & maintenance of equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to identify & repair faulty components and keeping trackability records of work performed.

Solve equipment failures quickly & effectively.

Apply preventive measure to avoid recurring problems & minimize downtime.

Support during factory acceptance (FAT) site acceptance tests with some travel to Europe potentially require, (SATs) & installation activities during site setup.

Provide training & support to operators/staff on equipment operation & maintenance.

Manage spare parts inventory to ensure parts are available for repairs & maintenance & order replacement.

Provide input & feedback on potential improvements to the existing systems, collaborating closely with the Automation Engineering function to optimize equipment & implement new technologies.

Comply with health & safety regulations when carrying out work & identify & addressing potential safety hazards.

Requirements: -

Ideally 3 years of relevant experience in an engineering background.

NQV level 3 qualification in Electrical Maintenance or Electrical Engineering.

Must have worked within a food manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in maintaining & optimising automated manufacturing equipment within a factory environment, from installation & commissioning, through to running & performance improvements.

Proficient in diagnosing & troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Experience using computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) platform & preferably knowledge of maintenance requirements within regulated environments operating to recognised food safety or pharmaceutical standards (i.e. BRC).

Hours/Shift: -

Mon Fri-rotating shift 06:00am 15:00pm & 13:00pm 22:00pm

Salary: -

50k per annum
