Position summary:
MEDICAL MULTI DROP DELIVERY DRIVER - B LICENCE BRISTOL
BASED: UPS Building, Polar Speed Distribution Limited, Unit 4, Kenn Court Business Centre, Hengrove Way, Bristol, BS4 1UL
SALARY: £26,200.57 P/A (40 hours) - £32,750.71 P/A (50hours )at £12.60 per hour, optional weekend and bank holiday working is paid at time and half rate at £18.90 per hour.
HOURS: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week. Start times 630am
Polar Speed has a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticallogisticsmarket in the UK. The companyspecialisesin active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies,wholesalersand medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of thebest knownpharmaceutical brands in the world.
Youllwork a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to workadditionalhours as and whenrequiredto meet our servicerequirementswhich may be of an urgent medical nature (average 48 to 50 hours).
Key responsibilities:
Check and scan all consignments

Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit

Deliver consignments onan accurateandtimelybasis ensuring products stay within the required temperature range

Ensure that records of deliveries are electronicallycapturedand driver manifests are completed

Maintain daily communications toprovideservice updates

Demonstrate professional and safe driving competency at all times

Present a smart working appearance at all times

Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years driving experience

Must hold a B category drivinglicence(no more than 3 points)

Previousmulti-drop experienceadvantageous

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to build effective working relationships with customers/clients, whilst appreciating the need formaintainingconfidentiality

Goodorganisationskills with the ability toprioritise

Good team player and able to work on your initiative

We offer a wide range of benefits including 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and increasing to 33 days in the sixth full holiday year and a company pension scheme with 4.5% employee salary sacrifice and 4.5% company contribution, Plus a UPS Perks At Work scheme.
