IC Resources is seeking a ML Research Scientist to join our client’s cutting-edge AI team in the centre of Cambridge. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering research in on-device AI, multimodal models, and mobile ML systems, working on real-world applications that will be deployed across millions of consumer devices. If you have a passion for machine learning, efficient AI, and distributed systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge AI/ML research, focusing on on-device large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), and adaptive inference methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams and research groups to integrate ML solutions into real-world applications.

Essential Experience:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent research experience in academia or industry.
  • Track record of publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, MobiSys, ICCAD, MLSys
  • Experience in efficient ML techniques such as quantization, pruning, sparsification, distillation, etc.
  • PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
