Position: Metal Fabricator

Location: Leicester

Salary: £20.13 per hour with highly competitive multiple overtime rates available daily and all day at the weekends

Shift: Onsite - Monday to Friday / Offsite - 12 days on and 2 days off

Responsibilities:

Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components

Grind and smooth surfaces, perform quality checks

*

Travel to clients (fully expensed, with paid travel time)

*

Interpret technical drawings, adhere to timelines

*

Report material defects, maintain documentation

Requirements:

*

2+ years’ experience as a Metal Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker

*

Experience in a food factory environment

*

Skilled in stainless steel work (1.6mm to 6mm), TIG welding

*

National Vocational Qualification in Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds, HNC/HND

*

Ability to operate a press brake

*

Experience in pattern development and conveyor manufacturing

*

Strong metal fabrication knowledge
