Position Overview:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Neurology will be a key member of the Medical Affairs team, responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders within the neurology field. The MSL will serve as a subject matter expert on our neurological pipeline and products, providing scientific and clinical insights to support the development and commercialization of therapies aimed at neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scientific Expertise: Serve as a trusted scientific expert in the field of neurology, with a deep understanding of neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, and other related conditions.
• KOL and Investigator Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic researchers, and clinical investigators to exchange scientific information and provide support for ongoing clinical research.
• Scientific Communication: Communicate scientific data and clinical insights to both internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, investigators, and research teams.
• Medical Education: Conduct presentations, symposia, and training sessions for healthcare professionals, internal staff, and external stakeholders on the scientific background, clinical data, and therapeutic value of products in the neurology portfolio.
• Clinical Trial Support: Assist with the identification of potential clinical trial investigators, sites, and patient recruitment strategies for ongoing and future clinical trials in the neurological space.
• Clinical Insights: Collect and analyze clinical insights from KOLs and healthcare professionals to inform the development of clinical trial strategies and the optimization of product development and commercialization plans.
• Regulatory and Compliance Adherence: Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, commercial, and market access, to provide scientific support and ensure alignment on strategic goals for neurological products.
• Scientific Data Dissemination: Support the dissemination of clinical trial data and other scientific findings at major medical conferences and peer-reviewed publications.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.

Experience:

• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on neurology-related therapeutic areas.
• Previous experience as an MSL or in a similar scientific or clinical role is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in neurology, including knowledge of therapeutic areas such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, or stroke.
