Main responsibilities - Worksproactively to deliver the medical plan in territory, collaboratingwith colleagues in cross-functional field and head office medicalteams. - Works to ensure that requests for information fromHealthcare professionals (HCPs) is provided in an unbiased andaccurate manner. - Provides scientific and technical leadership toensure professional and credible relationships with thought leadersand experts. - Works collaboratively and cross functionally withother Sanofi Teams while retaining functional independence. -Supports internal training at the request of the division teamsand/or regional team to ensure Sanofi teams receive up to datescientific, clinical and therapeutic updates in accordance withcompany approved materials. - Collaborates with Medical Advisors,divisional teams and appropriate personnel to execute the medicalplans in the field. - Identify, collect and internally provideinsights into medical and scientific field intelligence – forexample, competitor research and medical strategies, educationalactivities. - Understands the Business Unit/Division strategy andprovides scientific support to enable compliant delivery alignedwith the medical plan. - Identify and partner with Key ThoughtLeaders to broaden clinical experience and knowledge, identify thegaps in clinical data and when requested, facilitate furtherclinical studies and advisory boards. - Plays a key role inidentifying UK data needs and options for generating evidence. Mayparticipate in the planning of clinical trials ensuring that theyare aligned to the short and long term medical plan. Knowledge andunderstanding of the NHS policy for disease area, reimbursementprocesses and patient referral pathways. - Adaptable, independentand proactive working style. - Knowledge of the pharmaceuticalindustry and of regulatory processes (Code of Practice and MHRA). -Thorough knowledge of products and disease areas. - Workingknowledge of the NHS, including the ability to understand clinicalpriorities and how processes work within this system. - Awarenessof clinical studies set up and maintenance-preferable. - Able tobuild strong working relationships to achieve optimal outcomes forpatients. - Ability to collaborate and share information tocontribute to the planning process and execute the agreed Medicalplan in line with objectives. Competent to critically appraisestudies and clinical evidence to allow engagement on higherscientific level with customers. About you - Educated to degreelevel with a scientific qualification (PhD) or HCP, alternativelysubstantial relevant therapy area experience. - Therapy areaexperience with KOL network in Dermatology is preferable. -Excellent communication and presentation skills, experienced in thedelivery of scientific presentations.
