Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, CorporateSecurity Job Description This is an excellent opportunity for anew-to-industry Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor to jointhe ADM Health & Wellness Medical Team and gain experience fromthe ground up in a rapidly growing business, with a particularfocus on the microbiome and its role in human health. Thesuccessful candidate will be an integral part of the Medical Team,delivering the clinical research programme to support the Health& Wellness business and becoming a subject matter expert inmicrobiome research. Main Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to (andultimately lead) human clinical trials for ADM Health &Wellness 2. Contribute to the successful publication of clinicalresearch using ADM products and the dissemination of the resultsthrough conferences, congresses and seminars 3. Become a subjectmatter expert in the field of microbiome clinical research 4.Provide support in the review of adverse event reporting and in thedevelopment of safety dossiers across product lines 5. Keep abreastof relevant industry and scientific developments 6. Identify,develop and maintain Key Opinion Leader relationships andcommercial opportunities 7. Write and deliver high level scientificpresentations to medical/scientific and commercial audiences 8.Work closely with Marketing to create and maintain scientificmarketing assets 9. Attend external scientific conferences andcommercial events as a representative of the company (both in theUK and abroad) 10. Prepare for occasional travel to meet commercialpartners and share scientific results 11. Work with Regulatory toprovide input to registration dossiers tailored for specificterritories 12. Review & develop clinical trial protocols withinternational partners Skills & Abilities: 1. Strong scientificbackground with a demonstrated interest in clinical research 2.Experience of scientific writing 3. Experienced public speaker 4.Publication track record highly desirable 5. Experience withsystematic review and/or meta-analysis process desirable 6.Clinical/academic experience in microbiome research or microbiologydesirable 7. Full driving licence and passport, and flexibility totravel internationally Education & Experience: 1. PhD in afield relevant to healthcare/life sciences/microbiome research ORMedical degree 2. If medically qualified, Membership of a MedicalRoyal College highly desirable 3. Familiarity with statisticalmethods for clinical research desirable 4.
