Pharma-Partners are currently supporting a specialised, global pharma company hire a Medical Information Manager for their European team.

This role will develop, maintain and deliver second line enquiries for European affiliates. The Medical Information Manager will also support the MI team with technical aspects and monitoring of content and quality with the medical information outsource service provider and ensure appropriate standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

Establish and develop a strong working relationship with cross functional teams and act as a therapy area expert and provide a quality second line medical information service for affiliates across Europe and Commercial business partners.
Promote the safe and effective use of company products by ensuring accurate, balanced and current information is available and provided as appropriate to our customers and other departments
Ensure company standard response documents (SRDs)/ frequently asked questions (FAQs) are accurate, balanced and fair – To avoid Litigation risk, Pharmacovigilance (PV) inspection risk and Code risk.
Continually update and review to SRDs/FAQs with all the current literature for designated products/therapeutic areas.
Respond to queries from the European Country Affiliates and also direct requests from HCPs / consumers across Europe where necessary.

The Candidate:

Pharmacy degree
Experience of working with Zinc/PromoMat is an advantage
Over 4 years Medical Information experience, preferably in a large pharmaceutical company Medical Information department.
Track record of writing standard response documents from conception
Experience of providing Medical Information in a European context is highly desirable
Handling of medical information enquiries and maintenance of the systems for recording these enquiries.
Developing and maintaining standard responses to frequently asked questions.

Remuneration:

Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
