ROLE:                    Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION:           Darwen, Lancashire
SALARY:                Circa £40’000 + overtime 3-8k dependent on hours worked + annual bonus 4-6k OTE circa 47-54k

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to elevate the customer experience from concept to completion. The perfect fit? Someone with the precision of a designer and the vision of a project leader, seamlessly blending Mechanical Design and Project Engineering expertise.
 
What you will bring to the team: 

A highly motivated self-starter.
Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 years’ experience, coupled with project management.
Customer exposure and experience on site.
Thorough admin and reporting skills.
Hunger and eagerness to deliver.
Ideally some exposure to product movement or handling. (Could be from the Food/ waste recycling/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industry.)
2D & 3D CAD Inventor knowledge and experience. Solidworks training can be offered.
Educated to degree level with a mechanical engineering degree.
Excellent communicator with your peers and customers.
Relationship developer.
