A market leading mechanical & electrical building services specialist are currently recruiting a M&E Planner, in accordance with a diverse range of landmark developments that have recently been secured across London & SE. The business is recognised for providing M&E design and installation services to major commercial office, data centre, education, hotel & leisure, pharmaceutical/ life sciences, and residential sectors while working in partnership with some of the UK’s most prestigious main contractors and developers.

Due to strong growth and exciting future expansion plans, the business is now seeking a M&E Planner to take ownership of two major London based schemes recently awarded. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark with a company that sets the benchmark for quality, innovation, and project delivery.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead MEP planning and programmed efforts across multiple construction projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Project Directors, Design Leads, and project teams from pre-construction through to project completion.
  • Assess buildability and sequencing during design stage to support early planning.
  • Highlight risks and design coordination requirements.
  • Lead MEP planning activities within complex building services environments.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed mechanical & electrical programmes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide look-ahead programmes.
  • Create fully integrated programmes in line with the main construction plan, identifying key MEP milestones.
  • Coordinate M&E activities with structural and architectural works to avoid clashes and ensure efficient sequencing.
  • Utilising specialist planning software including Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 or similar planning software.


Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
  • Skilled in Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 or other similar planning software.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic mindset.
  • Proactive leadership.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Time management & organisation.


Qualifications/ Education

  • Relevant building services or mechanical/ electrical engineering qualification.
  • Experience as a M&E Planner, leading largescale construction projects across the UK.
  • Knowledge of construction regulations and best practices.
