Material Test Engineer

£32-36K + Excellent Benefits (Pension, health, holidays, 8% bonusetc)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Material Test Engineer to join a world leading company specialised in developing products for the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

(This position is to be part of the Engineering and manufacturing department and isNOTa software test/automation related position)

As part of the Engineering team, the Test Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Looking after projects from an initial brief by liaising with customers during the process
  • Qualify bespoke products to customer specifications
  • Provide technical product support to Customers and colleagues within Sales and other internal departments, recommending appropriate solutions where required.
  • Prepare laboratory tests using approved process, equipment and materials
  • Carrying out various tests including thermal and structural analysis and simulations.
  • Writing of technical documentation to required standards; to include:
    • Engineering Memos
    • Qualification Protocols and Reports
    • Performance Summaries
    • Assembly Posters.
  • Maintaining documentation using change control system
  • Maintaining the workplace to be of a high level of cleanliness and order
