Manufacturing Supervisor – Newry

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team to ensure the efficient manufacturing of top-quality products playing a crucial role in driving performance improvements and ensuring targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production teams to meet daily and annual targets

  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Maximize efficiency and output while minimizing waste

  • Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Process Excellence teams

  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports on production activities

  • Train and develop team members to enhance skills and efficiency

    The Ideal Candidate

  • A degree or third-level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field OR 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

  • Experience in a technical manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train teams

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet targets

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
