CK Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Black Belt, to join a leading biopharmaceutical company, on a contract basis for 3 months.

Salary:
£24.62 per hour PAYE.

Manufacturing Black Belt Role:

To lead the manufacturing site transformation through application of operational excellence principles and practices ensuring elimination of waste and developing value stream flow.
To lead and drive Operational Excellence Transformation at functional level through the development and implementation of a sustainable improvement system that enables the Site to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of it's processes.
Identify appropriate metrics to monitor enterprise excellence cultural progress on site.
Facilitate root cause analysis workshops as required for business critical issues.
Promote and utilise tools and techniques to achieve continuous improvement and value creation, such as Lean Six Sigma.
Your Background:

Minimum: BSc in a science or science related discipline.
Black belt certified with large experience, Master Black Belt would be a plus.
Experienced in using a variety of Lean tools and techniques.
Excellent communication skills required to communicate with all levels from shop floor to head of site and across all functions.
Experienced in Operational Excellence Delivery, with demonstrated knowledge of Shingo Model of Excellence or similar.
