The Role

Solution Consultants at Veeva are product and industry experts responsible for working with customers to determine how Veeva’s solutions can improve their processes and operations during the sales cycle. We are looking for an experienced manager to lead a team of European based Solution Consultants that work with our customer’s Regulatory / Pharmacovigilance teams. You will oversee the day-to-day assignment of work, manage the performance of the individuals on the team, participate in customer engagements, and represent Veeva at external events.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of up to six Solution Consultants based in Europe, assigning work, managing performance, and participating in customer engagements
  • Learn Veeva’s Regulatory / Pharmacovigilance products and solutions
  • Work with global Solution Consulting leadership to assess and improve the processes used by the team to sell and engage with prospects and customers
  • Collaborate with Veeva’s Sales and Strategy teams to ensure we continue to win business and support customers during and after the sales cycle
  • Represent Veeva and the Regulatory team at internal, industry, and marketing lead events

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Solution Consulting/presales in a multi-product SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of experience with managing Solution Consulting/presales teams
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry working as a consultant, service provider, or for a pharmaceutical or MedTech company. Experience in R&D is highly desired
  • Proven track record of hiring and developing high-performing presales teams
  • Experience with defining and implementing presales best practices and processes
  • Fluency in English
  • Location in the UK or mainland Europe
  • Ability to travel within Europe regularly

Nice to Have

  • Spanish, French, Italian, or German language skills
  • Knowledge of EMA Regulatory requirements and technologies
  • Experience working with Veeva RIM or other similar industry solutions
