Role: Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Sun-Thurs Nights (10-6)

Salary: £55,811 (O.T. 1.5 + 2.0)

Location: Hornchurch

Our client is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies worldwide, and a key player in dealing critical care and painkiller products to the NHS and entities within the private healthcare sector. Our client has been trading for centuries; however they have recently merged and have invested just under £20 million in the latest state-of-the-art machinery which you will be working on. As a result, their production volume has tripled in the past fifteen years. They have lots of new automated machinery, PLC equipment and training to invest in you to upskill and make you a better Maintenance Engineer!

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Fault finding electrically in control panels, working on sensors, relays, contactors, three phase kit etc.
Working on fillers, conveyors, bottling machines, packaging machinery, ovens, autoclaves etc.
Conducting Reactive and Planned Maintenance
Ability to work confidently in a Mechanical and Electrical capacity
Work mechanically on gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, pulleys, shafts, sprockets, chain drives etc.

About You

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:

A recognised engineering qualification
A keen interest in CI projects in an FMCG environment
An open mindset regarding manufacturing, automation and the pharmaceutical industry
Proven experience working with mechanical and/or electrical components
