Are you a maintenance engineer looking for a days based role?

We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer who has some PLC experience or would like to learn to work for this pharmaceutical business in Chesterfield.  With a strong emphasis on proactive maintenance, you will work as part of a small team to keep the plant running smoothly. Working a Panama Days pattern the role offers a great work life balance. Ideally you will have worked in a similar manufacturing or distribution environment.

The role as a Maintenance Engineer:

Day to day maintenance of the facility and the PPM system.

Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.

Follow the requirements of all relevant legal, regulatory and company requirements.

Where required assist with the installation and implementation of capital projects.

Adhere to relevant procedures

Work as a team player within the engineering department.

Adhere to all safety, health, environmental and quality policies.

Qualifications and experience required for this  Maintenance Engineer role:

NVQ / C&G Level 3 or greater in a maintenance capacity either electrical, multi skilled

Previous experience within a manufacturing setting would be beneficial

Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics is preferable

You need to be a team player and have a passion for maintaining excellent craftmanship.

Benefits to you as a  Maintenance Engineer:

Panama –

Week 1 Monday Tuesday Saturday Sunday

Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,

7am – 7pm

Annual salary £48,250

Occasional weekend call out

Paid overtime

Ongoing training and development

22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
