Biomedical Scientist

Job Description

An experienced Locum Haematology Biomedical Scientist with expertise in all Blood Transfusion testing, including the use of the Ortho Visions system, crossmatching of red cells, and issuing of components and products, is required for a Band 7 role in West Sussex on a locum contract. If you have the skills and experience to support a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

  • Experience in all Blood Transfusion testing, including the use of the Ortho Visions system, crossmatching of red cells, and issuing of components and products
  • Proficiency with Winpath (LIMS) and Blood 360 vein-to-vein tracking
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship required)
  • At least 1 year of relevant NHS experience as a locum (temporary worker)
  • HCPC registration
